Want To Eliminate Cat Hairballs?

Cat hairballs can cause vomiting, constipation and loss of appetite. Imagine if you had a golf ball sized wad of your own hair in your gut. Never mind. Don't think about it. Cat hairballs upset tummy

This hair, or more correctly, fur is from your Felicia doing her own grooming. Usually you cat coughs up the offensive wad, but in extreme cases, they may have to be removed surgically.

Regular grooming -- especially when she is shedding -- will reduce the likelihood, but you and your cat will need to take a multi-pronged attack to keep this problem at bay. You can feed her hairball formula which is specially formulated to dissolve or break up the hair in her gut.

If your cat already has a hairball, you may want to shop for a gel that can be added to his food that will help the hairball pass through his body. This gel is actually a lubricant. Some contain papaya or special enzymes designed to help pass the hairball through the digestive track.
